Wellcome and Greetings!

You are invited to join us here in Perth Australia, in homes, parks or cafes, over a meal and a time of casual discussion and fellowship with others who want to go deeper with God and express that in the community.  Our invitation is open to those who are seeking Life Purpose and the reality of having a true relationship with God. Most of us do not attend or are part of a traditional or formal church setting. Rather we come together in what is called, Simple Church, which is very similar to House Church, Home Church or Organic Church and Fellowships which usually gather together in homes. Overall we have fun, and a deep and rewarding fellowship.

We usually meet weekly or fortnightly on a Sunday and this can vary a bit depending on which place the gathering will be held at. The venue is at someone's house and from time to time in a park or cafe. Everyone brings food as the gatherings start with a meal to be shared by all. You might say this is our communion in remembrance of Jesus Christ. After and even during the meal we have discussions about many things and many topics.  If possible we try and link these discussions with what the Bible has to say about the topic. Otherwise we glean from other's knowledge base and life experiences to help give answers to questions. Many times we also have music and songs as well as testimonies and encouragements. Usually we have a time of prayer for one another and for others both locally and internationally. And sometimes there is healing and prophesy. Overall we really ask the Holy Spirit to guide us all through out the gatherings. It is a great time for all and because the Simple Churches are guided by facilitators, then all people are encouraged to be involved.

Those who have an Apostolic and Teaching gifting are available to go from house to house to give guidance, teaching and support. As a group of people we would want to grow in Christ, support and help one another, and be a witness and an ambassador on behalf of Jesus Christ to all those around us and even overseas.

We also have a concern for the environment and God’s creation and will endeavor to do our best to be responsible and take care of it.  This includes us as people, as we take care of our bodies through healthy living.

And why 'Open Door WA'?

1. Well because we invite all people who desire Christ centered fellowship to participate with us here in Perth WA (Western Australia). The door is open, come along and see what happens.

2. And also because Jesus Christ stands at the door of our heart(our lives) and knocks as He waits for us to open the door and invite Him into our lives.
