Welcome to our Simple/House Church
Our invitation is open to all those who are seeking friendships and also want a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ. We come together in what is called, Simple Church, which is very similar to House Church, Home Church or Organic Church here in Perth Australia. In other words fellowships/church which usually gather together in homes. Overall we have fun, are non judgmental, help one another, support each other, pray for each other, study the Bible together, eat together, sing and play music, and develop good friendships. We even go camping once in a while.
What We Do
We meet weekly on a Sunday, alternating between the morning or afternoon. The venue is at someone's house and from time to time in a park or cafe. Everyone brings food as the gatherings start or end with a meal to be shared by all.
As a gathering we have discussions about many topics linking these topics with what the Bible has to say about it. We usually have a passage of scripture we study together and we ask the Holy Spirit to guide us as well. We also glean from other's knowledge base and life experiences to help give answers to questions. Throughout the gathering there is prayer for healing and other needs. Sometimes we also have music and song. Overall we learn to be Christ centered in our daily walk and we accept everyone as special people.
It is a great time for all and during the house or simple church gatherings a facilitator will guide the gatherings so that no one person is dominating. All people are encouraged to be involved and hopefully will be able to use their God given giftings. Actually everyone has something to say.
As a group of people we would want to grow in Jesus Christ, support and help one another, and be a witness and an ambassador on behalf of Jesus Christ to all those around us and even overseas.
